WE ARE A TIGHT-KNIT AND LOVING FAMILY: FARMERS LINDA AND KERMO, YOUNG FARMERS KERT AND TIMO, AND LINDA’S PARENTS, WHO GIVE US ADVICE AND LEND A HAND.
In 2009, we decided to leave town, move to the countryside, and start raising goats. We started with six mix-breed goats. We then brought Thuringian goats from Germany. Together with friends and family, we built a new barn for 50 goats. In June 2017, we opened a farm for 500 goats – the most modern goat farm in Estonia and probably in the whole Northern Europe. Among other things, a top-notch dairy and a special hay-dryer were completed. Our aim is to produce high-quality goat milk and dairy products. We care about the well-being of animals and caring for them is our priority. Milk production is based on animal welfare and high-quality animal feed.
Thuringian goats are recognisable for their chocolate-coloured fur with a white pattern on the face. They are curious and friendly animals who enjoy good hay, fresh air, and each other’s company.
In summer, goats produce four litres of milk a day. On average, their milk contains 3.5% fat and 3% proteins. Goat milk is a rich source of calcium, phosphorus, potassium, and vitamins A, B2, and B12.
The milk of Thuringian goats has a mild flavour, which makes it suitable for drinking and producing cheeses and other dairy products, as well.
Many good products from goat milk
WE PROMOTE THE PURITY OF FARM PRODUCE, SO THAT GOAT MILK WOULD REACH THE CONSUMERS AT ITS FINEST.
We have a hay-dryer that is unique in Estonia. The hay dryer provides our goats with the best-quality hay. We do not feed our goats with silage. Our goats have plenty of room, fresh air, and they can enjoy sunshine in the outdoors. This is why the goat milk of our farm has a particularly good taste.
Andri-Peedo farm offers:
- Raw goat milk
- Pasteurised whole goat milk
- Cream cheese with different flavours
- Matured goat cheese
